connecting predator to pc Hey guys, I just got my predator and installed the tune but it did not eliminate the CAGS-got with Diablo and they have been very helpful. The problem is I cant get the predator to talk to my PC. My laptop doesnt have a DB-9 output so I got a cable from Radio Shack that goes from the USB to a serial type connector (and software) it all installed well-no prob but still no com between them. I contacted diablo at the end of the day yesterday and was told that the com port settings for a USB are 4 or 5, they need to be reset to a 2 for the serial cable. Does anyone out there know how to change the com port settings in Win XP. Im about to blow a gasket here-of course evryone is off for the holiday so Im turning to you guys for help (again HAHAHA) Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving 
not sure how to help u on this one, i got lucky and pluged it in and it worked on my computer, took a long time to get it to work. i actually had to send it off to diable and the gave me a tune ( they had to unlock the predator for me something happened to it)
Go to the control panel, open the System folder, click on the Hardware tab, select Device Manager, Find COM Ports in list, click on it. Select the Com Port, Double click on it, select the Port Settings tab, click on the advanced button. Select the desired Com Port # from the drop down list.
