Car starts and dies help!!
Car starts and dies help!! Just put a cam, intake manifold, headers, throttle body, maf in my car. the car was runnning fine after the install we had it running all last week. Went to start it up to day and it just dies on me. I deleted the AIR, EGR and O2 sensors. i did not get it tuned yet i was going to bring it in today. Any input will help me
checked the fuel system. pump is working fine, fuel filter is clean, have about 58 pounds of pressure in the line.

I havent done a cam swap yet that didnt get tuned on the first start. Its what a lot of us call " one and done " - ( considering that if it isnt tuned right off the bat its damaged )
Ok Where to begin. We need more info on ur cam - What MAf did u change to - Id unplug the Maf - or try the old MAF first as easy stuff to see if it just starts. But Usually when someone says " Turns over, starts, then dies " First thing I think is VATS

i have the slp MAF we unplugged it and same thing. i have the patriot performance cam. its the least aggresive out of the 2 forgot the numbers. You really thing my engine is done because it wasnt tuned yet?
