Changing from 4L60E to TH400?

Changing from 4L60E to TH400? I know this question has been asked before, but it's easier to ask again. I want to remove the A4 transmission codes and signals with HP tuners. what do I need to turn off or should I down load a M6 vin number and reload my tune when changing from a 4L60E to a Th400? Thanks for your help.
