Default a/f ratio conversion?

I have a digital a/f gauge and was wondering if there is a chart that shows voltage to wide band numbers?

what type of gauge. most of them have a manual and shows the voltage for the a/f most of these gauges run from 0-5v

Is it a wide band???

870mv sounds like a narrow band and you wont be able to convert because narrow bands aren't accurate except for a small range around 14.7:1

stock narrowband. I thought I saw a chart once that showed approx a/f ratio to mv's. like 14.7 was 450 mv's

There may be a chart, but it's garbage.

You cannot accurately measure much of anything away from stoich with a narrowband sensor. That 'gauge' is just a lights show.

I get tired of all the people with narrow band gauges running - They are for the Stock PCM to try and contol fueling, not for an AF ratio. 450 is close to Stoich when the sensor is in the fqactory original location in the stock manifold- anything above that is richer

Im not using it for tuning, its a lean shut down switch, I just wanted an idea of what my voltage is close to. The chart I have for the switch seems off....

It IS off... That narrowband will report (significantly) different voltages for the SAME AFR as it's temperature varies (among other things)... Merely moving it's placement in the exhaust will change it's reading as well.
