Hi sorry if this is answered somewhere but I could not it on search and then reading the forums.
I need to know where the OBD connector is on 02 Trans Am. I bought a reader and have no idea where to hook it up.
Please excuse my insolence.
Also does anyone happen to have a image of where the check air valves are in the engine? I would like to replace them on my car due to an emissions code and the mechanic said it would be "expensive". I know hes full of it.
Thank you in advance

Get in the car, and look under the dash by your right knee, the OBDII connector is right there.
The air check valves are the black pieces bolted to the top of your exhaust manifolds on both sides, with the black tubing coming off of them (that leads to the air pump).
Oh, and welcome to the board.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

BTW, two easily accessible 10mm bolts and a plastic clip hold the air tubes on. Maybe 20 min to swap them both. ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
SDPC is a board sponsor here and has good prices on OEM parts like the air check valves ---->.
