SES light & 2 codes NEED A LITTLE help
so my ses light is on after the h/c swap & the 2codes are multiple misfire & tps sensor. well I bought a tps sensor & the codes r still there. do I have cracked plugs? they have 1k on them or so. would that give me a tps code? also have a strong oder of raw fuel & it sucks it up like its free also. that's going 2 get hard on the check book. so what do u think

I am sure that you did, but did you have it tuned for the new setup? Had to ask. also check your plug wires and make sure that they all the way on. Matter of fact, check all of your connections, MAP sensor, MAF sensor, coil packs, etc. pretty much everything that you disconnected for the swap. that should be a good start

no there's no tune on it yet but ppl run there cars w/o a tune. It doesn't idel for **** till the computer figures out what's going on. it wants 2 stall out when come 2a stop sign the rpms r fluchuating a lot. u think not having a tune is going 2 throw these codes??

unless thats a baby cam, and some mildly ported stock casting heads, I would have it tuned. if your car smells like fuel and has misfires, your PCM is dumping fuel to compensate for the massive amount of air that you now have coming into your engine. my advice, get it tuned.
