How long does ls1edit take How long does ls1edit take to read your pcm and save the file.
My 2000 silverado is taking almost 2 hours to read the file, is this normal? I have not tried flash the pcm yet hopefully that will be shorter.
laptop is a pentium 4 2.0 gig so it should not be the laptop??

Should take about 15 minutes.
I've heard that using a USB to RS232 adapter can make it take an annoyingly long time.
If you are using one, then I'd recommend switching to a PCMCIA based RS232 card.
