computer doing wierd stuff when i start the car

computer doing wierd stuff when i start the car for the last few weeks, nearly everytime i start the car, all the guages jump all the way up and the odometer resets(not the one with total miles) i havent had any problems with it but if i would like to use my odometer im going to have a problem doing so? has anyone had this problem and if so what could it be from. my service engine light is still on from the header install but that is the only thing that is out of place.
Mine did that when the battery was going out. Then it would barely turn over. So I went to Autozone and had it checked....bad battery. I replaced the battery and it has been fine ever since. Have your altenator checked as well just to make sure.

Mine did that while I was up north for Thanksgiving. It was Cold out, and the first start of the day.
Back in Warm Florida it's fine.
The cold puts a strain on the battery, so No Catzz is probably right.
