computer issues in 01 ss maro ... bought a tuner to tune it up due to the fact that the car was runnin like crap.. it turns out the tune in the car isnt stock .. does anyone know how i would be able to turn the car pack to the stock computer settings? or what can i do .. it wont let me program the hypertech handheld tuner
Trying to understand exactly what the issue is. You purchased a Hypertech (HPP) hand held tuner, but the HPP tells you that the tune is not stock and won't let you go any further?
Or you purchased some other tuner package?
Is the car stock, or does it have mods? If so, what might they be?

the car has a cam, some head work and full exhaust.. that was my fault.. i bought a superchip programer .. and im guessing the guy that i bought the car from didnt return the car back back to the stock cpu settings and left the tune in the car and now it wont let me program my tuner due to the fact that the tune in the car isnt stock.. it gives me a E:43 code on the tuner..
