Code U1000 So today i decided to update my hypertech tuner and retune my car. Two hours after I retuned my car, it would not turn over. at first glance it appeared to be that the battery was dead. So i got my girlfriends car and tried to jump it to no avail. I checked for DTC's and the code U1000 came up. Does anyone know what this code might mean and how to go about fixing it?

U1000 means that the serial 2 communications interface is having a problem. It could be a number of things that are connected to this interface that is throwing the code. BCM, IPC, anti-theft, etc...
