PCM preference I have 2 PCMs to choose from for my conversion which is a 2001 LS1 and t56 in a '55 chevy. This will be a (almost) daily driver and will probably never see the track.
I have a '00 A4 PCM and a '98 M6 PCM already purchased. I would rather use the '98 PCM since the wiring harness is easier to build and the PCM is already set to a M6 tranny.
Do you see any significant reason not use the '98 PCM?

if you plan on going more than 450 rwhp or so, the maf tables may become an issue on the 98
But it is not really a big deal to 95% of the members of this board.
Also, if you ever want a predator, they don't make one for the 98's
