datamaster transmission help
datamaster transmission help well i have been having some transmission problems and i am trying to figure out a few things on what the actual readings mean on datamaster for it
i talked to the guy that is going to fix my trans and he told me that he figured it was either a shift solenoid or hydraulic issue... what its doing is if i start it up cold in the morning and run it at about 20% throttle it hangs a little bit before it shifts out of first and then once it shifts into second it won't shift at all in to 3rd, and then when you let out of the throttle and give it gas it basically slips up to about 2000 rpms and then catches and pulls again, but i have to put it in neutral to make it stop and actually let it shift into third....
but i have no idea what basically any of the tables on the transmission tables on datamaster mean except the tps, but i wasnt sure if there actually is a table showing the shift solenoids actually coming on or not
