Lt1 gurus please come in!!! I have a 1980 monza in the shop we have set up with a '96 camaro lt1/auto,all stock with egr/smog delete,headers & exhaust.The car starts & runs fine but will idle up around 1800rpm after it has run a couple of minutes.There are no codes,has new t/b gaskets,checked for vacuum leaks with none found.Once it idles up it never idles back down.The first 3/4 start ups it did fine & gradually led here.Thanks for any help!!
throttle is all the way closed? Double check for vacuum leaks if it is. Unless the IACV is just sticking open, I'd say you have a leak somewhere. Brake booster hose hooked up? Booster is not bad?
lt1 The mtr is stock except for egr smog delete,headers.I have checked for vacuum leaks over & over there are none,I have even changed pcm with an extra I had with no change.Last scan showed #4 misfire code.I am leaning toward the iac mtr just was looking to see if anyone has had this issue.Thanks for all the help!!
