HpTuners Question

Hi, I found a used hptuners suite and scanner on craigslist. The guy said he had it unlocked for all 99 fbodys. My question is since i have a 1998 fbody would I be able to just purchase 2 more credits and tune my car fine? He was saying that he thinks I might need to get my pcm flashed or something.

As far as i know all you have to do is purchase new credits. But i could be mistaken, someone will correct me if im wrong. Good Luck

Assuming that it is not a serial version. They are no longer recognized by HPtuners and you will not be able to buy credits for it.

If it is not the USB version then it's no good to any one except for the 99 f-body guys.
