I'm going to get HP Tuners sometime in the next few months (when I get home) and am looking at getting up to three gauges to help with tuning. I'm new to this, but I'd like to think I'm fairly computer literate and pick new things up fairly quick.
I know I need to get a wideband at the least. What other gauges would be useful for tuning/learning to tune? EGT? And is there another name for that in the car world, I'm more used to jet engines (monitoring them, not working on them)? Looking for any recommendations and guidance to help me get started on the right path!
Also, are there certain gauges that are better than others? I need to be able to read it at night too, so some kind of backlighting/regular lighting is important. Thanks!

Just get a good wideband and a fuel pressure gauge is a good idea too. Both can be logged through HPT though so just get gauges that look cool. An NGK AFX wideband is one of the most accurate.

Thanks for the guidance! Has anyone had any experience with these two AEM gauges?

And would I need anything else in order to make them function propperly? If I'm reading the product descriptions right (and I checked AEM's page too) they shouldn't need a separate controller?
