Default Predator scan question

Whats up everyone....I was wondering if i could use my predator to delete a code on another car..no tune or anything just plug in and delete the code...would this screw up the tune for my car or the predator next time i use it for my car.....Thanks....

As far as I know it will work fine. I have my Diablo tune loaded in my Z28 and I have used the Predator to scan another persons car, found the code and deleted it. What you can not do is load tunes to more than one vehicle at a time. Once you load a tune, the Predator will be "married" to the VIN of that vehicle and will remain that way until you restore the stock tune and that unlocks the Predator tunes to be used on another vehicle. Not an expert but that's the way I understand it.

yes, you can use it to scan/erase trouble codes on another GM vehicle...
