Can EFILive be sold and used by someone else on another LS1?
If so, would the new buyer still be entitled to free software updates eventhough they are not the original owner?

Can't give you a definitive answer, but I would guess yes. You should read the license agreement that came with it and you'll probably find your answer.

 

Actually, I just ordered EFILive from SpeedDemon for $316 shipped.
I was curious because I thought I may want to get another scanner like EASE that can handle other GM cars (6.5 Diesel, V6 Firebird, 98 Gpix..). However, turns out for about $100 I can get Autotap which will work on these models as well..

I can't wait to finally scan the TA!
