Is it safe to start and drive my ls1 without a tune?

I have a 99 firebird LS1 formula. So far I have a K&N filter, slp lid, smooth bellow, LS6 intake manifold and I am just finishing up installing Pacesetter long tubes without EGR or AIR provisions, and ORY without rear O2's and a magnaflow catback. My question is, is it safe to start the car and dirve it after this is all done without a tune? I am going to get a mail order tune from Frost in the next couple weeks, but would like to start it up after the install. Thanks

lol its fine. most people dont even bother getting a tune until they go into the engine(heads/cam)

^Like me lol. I've been driving without a tune for 9 months, I'm waiting til I install my cam and stall to get a tune.

Yup no problem with bolts ons. Lots of geniuses drive their cammed cars around with no tune
