Got this code today when my check engine light came on. it says "clutch switch position circuit malfunction" i believe is how it was worded. any idea what the heck this is? i need to get the car inspected ASAP and cant pass with a SES light on

 

if u look on the clutch pedal assy at the top under the dash or sometimes they r on the firewall or on the floor where the pedal hits, theres usually a switch. sometimes when theyre bad it wont let u crank the vehicle at all

 

hope you have it fixed by now, but its possible it could be affecting the cruise too, i know my cruise doesnt work and i had that code pop up
