ls1 swap in a toyota with dbw help! I have a 2007 toyota xrunner that im putting a ls1 from a 2000 camaro in it. I would like to keep the dbw system but my engine is setup for the dbc. I just recently purchased a ls1 painless dbw harness.
ok so i know i need a pedal and a tac box but what else is needed? is the gto better then the corvette? or visa versa?
can i reflash my computer to go dbw? it has 2 plugs, not three

here is my old setup
If you bought the painless setup. Ithink you need to use the corvette pedal and Tac module, along with a 12200411 PCM with a corvette OS in it. I don't think you can use the GTO pedal. I think you might be able to use the truck pedal, Tac module and a DBW truck tune, with that harness
You could try to copy the newer OS in it, but I don't know of any vehicles that came with the DBW OS and a Blue Red plugged PCM, that didn't use the 12200411 PCM, For the DBC you can run the newer OS, in the older PCM, so it might also work for the DBW set up, I just don't know of anybody doing it
