Re-flashing to stock parameters? hi guys i just recently bought a 98 ws6 trans am and the guy i bought it off use to run nitrous on it and still has his nitrous tune on it without the nitrous and my car keeps cutting fuel after 3500 rmps and running very cold how would i reflash the computer back to stock?
just unplugging it and such will not restore old setting. Find some one with hp tuners and they can campare a stock file to yours and hp tuners will highlight what the differences and changes are made easily. If hp tuners was used in the first place no money should be needed to unlock the pcm. You also need to make sure the prevouis person didnt lock the pcm afterwards but most people dont.

FWIW there is something amiss if it is hitting a limiter at 3500rpm, nitrous tune or not. I smell lemon.
