Tune and use as generic scan tool

Is there any opitions on a scan tool or software that I could use as a generic scan tool at my shop and use to tune my truck 04 silverado? I know tech 2 but is there any others?

You can't tune your truck with a Tech2, unless you have an inside person at GM to make you the files.
Hptuner and EFI Live Can both be used as scanners

So with a flash scan v1 I could tune my truck 04 silverado and also scan any car truck from acura to volkswagon or would I have to have a v2?

EFI LIVE hasn't released generic scanning yet, but it is on the cards. At the moment you can only scan controllers that you can also tune. ie most GM stuff.
