I wouldn't waste my money unless you absolutely know you won't do more mods.. and if that's the case just go get a dyno tune.

For around $500 you can get a custom dyno tune that none of the hand-helds can match. I got my Predator for a little less, and the LS1 tune on it upped my numbers from 308/324 to 335/345. Since then I've really gotten my money out of it by using it to modify gear ratio, Rev Limits (M6), Fan start and stop temps (160* stat), and diagnosing ODB2 problems to pass emissions (VA).
I think the best situation is to have it custom dyno-tuned, and use the hand-held to modify params and read codes. So you want one that will let you download the dyno-tune as the stock tune, and let you modify it, even if it's just for gears or shift points.

Just hit me up... its only $75!!! I wouldn't recomend buying a tuner for those mods...
If you plan getting serious with your setup (like FI) look into HPtuners and a good wideband! Even then make sure you know what your doing, as alot of people buy software and end up paying someone else to do it for them in the end anyway!
