I have just swapped a 2008 LY6 engine in my 1976 GMC truck. I am using the existing TH350 transmission for the time being. Motor runs great but under HPTuners the speedo is pegged at 158mph. I installed a Dakota Digital VSS 8000ppm. I wired it per the instrucitons with the ground wire to ground and the other wire to the VSS High wire to the E38 computer.
I have played with some of the "Speedo" settings and nothing changes.
Is the computer getting any speed input at all?
Any suggestions?
