Personally I'd spend a little more and get EFI Lives FlashScan V1 Scan Only
Price: $249.00
It requires you have it hooked to a laptop, but it will data log also.
If you want something that stands alone for an extra $150, you can buy the V2, which not only is a stand alone scanner, it does stand alone logging. either one of them can later be upgraded to also do tuning.
It also does extras that most scanners in its price range don't do,
