I am currently living and working in the United Arab Emirates. I just purchased a 2009 Chevy Lumina SS. I downloaded the factory tune from the car which stated that it is a Holden Sedan. I am also told this is the same as a Pontiac G8 GT. What I am trying to find out engine they have installed. I do know it is a 360HP 6.0L V8. If this is the same as the G8 GT engine, I thought these motors have DoD. I check the tune and it shows that the DoD is disabled. I compared it to a stock G8 GT tune from the HPT website. Of course, I'm not going to flip it on without making sure that the components are there. What can I look for to make sure? Where can I look on HPT scanner to see if it is switching to the V4 mode, if it is there? Any help is appriecated.
