Default O2's not cross counting

Ok, I've been adjusting the idle on my friend's car so he can put around in it till he can get it tuned. I'm new to using HP tuners so I'm not really skilled at it but I can make cars idle. But I noticed while I was tuning it that the O2 sensors are not cross counting like they should. They appear to be cross counting at a very low frequency. They are registering correctly and the long term fuel trims are adjusting, just very slowly. Is there some setting or table in HP tuners that needs to be changed to fix this or are the sensors going bad? The car isn't throwing any O2 sensor codes either. If anybody has any ideas they would be appreciated.
