Currently in the process of putting a 5.3 / 4l60e into my Jeep. Cable TB for simplicity. Are there any advantages to running a particular ECM or OS?

I don't have an ECM yet. I'm thinking that I'd like to use a 04 GTO setup so I can play with the LC function and maybe eek out an extra mpg or two.

Any do's or don'ts I should look out for?

What would you use?

LC can be enabled in the 411 PCM too. I like the 156 OS. LC isn't always all it's cracked up to be though. I wouldn't let it be the deciding factor on what to use.
