Lets Start a Sticky Thread on Emissions
I have an 01 camaro with headers. The o2 heater code keeps setting SES light and I turned the test off and the Mil light in edit. the light dont come on anymore. Now for emissions... will this cause me to fail because the test isnt complete. How can I fix this problem if it will fail???
Lets keep this post to strickly emission please and help eachother out. Post replys on what you did to pass emissions, what state your in, and any other emissions related info.
Thanks,
Tony

Indiana doesn't have emissions as far as I know. You should have no worries.
What you need to do to pass the scan test, is to turn the SES light to a Type X code (turned off) but leave the test run. That's how to pass the scan.

I live in NW Indiana and we do have emissions here. I wasnt sure about how to set the test or mil light to pass, but hopefully that will work. Do you speak from experience?

EDIT: Test ON, SES light OFF (type X).
