d585 spark dwell time
ive read a couple of post that you have to change to the truck settings on this. any info would be appreciated.
Just as a side note, I have done the truck (heat sink) coil swap on my firebird. The car does idle smoother, and revs a bit nicer, other than that, there really isn’t much different. If you can get the coils cheap its a nice swap, but honestly over 100.00 and it’s not really worth it HP gain if can see maybe 5hp gain (if any).
Now remember I just did this swap as well, I love the coils but I got them for $80.00 for the coils, brackets and harnesses. If you have a factory fuel rail the driver side will not fit. If you have fast rails they will fit perfect. I can post up a pic if you want of my install.
