Gauges not working, car doesnt start!
Gauges not working, car doesnt start! I just got off work, started it up fine was leaving the lot and gave it little gas sliding it out just a bit and then when i turned out and stopped at the light I looked at my gas and all my guages were at the rest pegs, except Oil Press. which is halfway. I stopped to get gas, then the car wouldnt start so I pop started it. drove home fine... battery is good, just put an alternator in 2 months ago. havnt done too much diag yet. I brought tools from work because I was supposed to go help a friend with a H/C on his ws6, but instead Im fixing my DD. I didnt bring my DM or my good test light, i rigged one up and getting power to all fuses, pulled cluster and put back in which made the gauges max and come back to rest. anyone know what could of happend? Could something came disconnected when I slid it, or any quick ideas of something that could of shorted, or any wires to chase first?
