Default Help OBD-2 port is not working....

Well about a week ago i tried using my programmer to tune my car but the damn programmer wouldnt power on so i figured the programmer was broken...well today i went to check codes because my SES light is on and when i plugged the machine into the car the machine kept saying "Please connect device to read codes, then turn ignition to on" So i realized that its not my programmer thats messed up its my obd-2 port...my cigarette lighter is not working either anymore...is there a fuse or something that might of blown out?? i checked the connection behind the obd and everything seems to be in place.

Check the fuse. I believe its fuse 11 in the fuse box in the dash on the drivers side of the instrument panel. Thats where I would look first
