PCM Case Needs to be Grounded? WTF?
If I ground the case of the PCM, everything works and it starts and runs fine. If I don't ground the case, nothing works. I'm pretty sure I have all the PCM's grounds hooked up properly.
What is going on?
TIA,
Robert
Ensure both your block, heads, and transmission are all very well grounded. I try to avoid sharing ground points as well.
It has been my experience that these motors are very sensitive to grounds/interference. To the point that aluminum foil, joined grounds, and power wires in the wrong spot can cause running issues.
