I have an 02 f-body ECU sending signal to a 98 f-body fuel gauge/cluster....it reads WAY off for the fuel gauge. I mean, it reads WAY, WAY off. I've tried using a 98 fuel segment, but no luck. I've tried sending units for a 98 (0-90 ohms), and an 02 car(30-240 ohms)....no luck. I finally hooked up a potentiometer to the sender wire to check values, and here's what I've found:

Empty= 890 ohms
Half= 1287 ohms
Full= 1730 ohms

I can't be the first person to run into this problem, but can not find and answer. Anyone else here have any advise or solutions?
