If the mail-order tune is including the new injectors, you should be fine.

you should have 28.8 injectors stock, and they are good for an easy 450 rwhp. i made over 440 rwhp on 26.5 injectors , which were only put in 99 cars, all other years were 28.8s so i wouldnt think they would even be needed unless you have a blower or some crazy 500+hp heads cam package. personally....i would send em back and save my money, because you wont make more power with injectors unless yours are just dirty old high mileage injectors

If you are doing heads and cam, you will need injectors... if they are in the mail order base tune, put them in when you put the tune in...

The unwritten rules of thumb is to go with larger injectors if you are over 80% duty cycle at WOT.

Stock injectors also max around 400 rwhp and I wouldn't push my engine to 450 with stock injectors.

Put them in when you have the PCM with the correct data installed.
