Got an LS1 from a 99 camaro m6 in my Miata
While driving, everything will be perfectly ok and then all of a sudden the check engine light will come on, then tach drops and engine power INSTAnTLy becomes nilch!
Then all of a sudden after a second the check engine light goes off, tach comes up and the power is back?!
It keep doing this to me, and I have ZERO stored codes in the PCM, not even history codes, and I'm checking things with a expensive scan tool.
Maf voltages look good.
Any ideas?

I will confirm power and ground. Can it be anything else?
Because I noticed today the problem occurs when I am heavily accelerating (mostly)
Under cruise or light loads, it only rarely does it.
It NEVER does this in neutral standing still.
All of it makes sense To a loose power/ground except that I wiggled every single barness under the hood with the car running and it never skips a beat.
Weird...

could it be a bad ignition switch? Ive seen things like this happen on a few honda's, and we replace ignition switches at the honda dealership all the time.
With no stored codes it almost has to be a bad power or ground wire, a simple miss fire would lead to a stored code. i wonder if your losing power to the pcm when you turn the car off thus erasing the codes, (i dont know if it will keep codes with power disconnected or not) I'd check that you have your constant 12v to the pcm.
