Default BS3 and major MAP issue

My MAP had been showing near 300 kPa at idle so I assumed it was bad and the reason for my issues. I bought a new MAP and it shows the same thing. I have it run directly off the manifold. Thoughts?

I have had more than one customer to have multiple 1-bar MAP sensors that they were SURE were 3bar, and that is exactly how they report.

The two I have had have been for a Duramax because they're 3.3 bar and the connectors match. I had a suggestion today to try an older style chocolate bar type with the green weatherpack connector. I guess I'll get ahold of one of those.
