i have a 00 z28 m6. intake and heads are stock, it has a torquer v2 cam, slp lts and ory. i put the cam in first before the headers cause i knew the headers and ls6 intake were comin right behind it. with just the cam it was fine. not a big power increase cause no tune and it wasnt breathing right. i just put the headers and ory on and now the car wont rev past 4500. it chokes out. the ses flashes but its not throwin a code. is this something a tune will fix? the tuner i have an appt. with tomorrow said that usually the cam will cause problems but not the headers. my problem came with the headers. he said the only way to tell is to get it up there and check it out. before i spend $$ on a dyno tune that i didnt want to get till my ls6 intake, does it seem like this will fx the problem?

Sooo, you don't have a tune for the cam yet, and you are jumping on it? I don't think that's the best idea. When your SES light flashes, that normally means a misfire. I don't think I would drive it too hard until you get a good tune. Just my 2 cents.

Check the sensor fuses located under the hood. You may have melted some wires on the new exhaust. Maybe try unplugging the MAF and see if it runs better. It's a reach, but make sure the MAF isn't dirty (Oil from a long-term air filter will foul the MAF).
Make sure all the grounds are good, especially the ones on the back of the heads.
Flashing SES is something you really shouldn't be driving with. Good luck with it.
