Default Should I get retuned?

Had my car dyno tuned a few weeks ago. The tuner said it acted like my engine wasn't getting enough air. The other day I pulled my flowmaster 80 series muffler off. Holy crap that woke it up. It got sideways in second. Never done that before, just barked the tires hard. Not sure if I should have it retuned. I know I can watch my knock retard and see if it is picking up alot.

you need someone to log your spark and fueling.

make sure those are in-line with what was set dyno wise (you will need a wideband)

Likely the only thing that changed will be your Fuel Trims. I would have someone log it and see what the tune looks like

I have EFI Live but I don't have a wideband anymore.

Those mufflers are junk! I've seen 20 RWHP gains with a cutout open on those mufflers... I would consider switching to a Magnaflow - they are one of the best catbacks IMO...

Yes, you have to retune it - it will be lean at midrange and WOT.

Back in the day I never believed that either until I saw it...

Customer swapped catback from Flowmaster to Hooker, both were full catbacks, tested on the same dyno and same day. The Hooker catback picked up right at 19.5rwhp over the Flowmaster exhaust. Crazy. The car was a 400rwhp M6 car.

I don't plan on putting it back on. Putting on a SLP LM.

The place that tuned it said they would retune it for 150. Just didn't want to spend more money if I didn't have to. Kind of knew in the back of my mind it probably needs to be redone.
