Big cams, 346cid, idle issues... Problem....
When coming to a light the idle will drop very low almost to a point where the engine cuts off. 75% of the time the computer will compensate andcatch it making the idle will surge from 400 to 1500. The car also has high idle(1500) when its cold start/cold outside.

It has always hunted for idle coming to a stop, I can get lucky and it will settle @ 950 but most times it hunts for a couple of seconds and than settles down.

If you're motoring along ( 35 mph) and you push in the clutch does it stay running??
What's your idle timing, open and closed tables, set at.....@ 1200 RPM and Idle MAP/kPa??
When you adjusted throttle followers - which tables?? Increase or decrease?
