Help, Flashing SES light

Help, Flashing SES light This morning, my SES started flashing and the car is idling much more rough than usual. Some background info: The SES light is usually always on, I'm running an Off-Road Y pipe. The flashing isn't constant. It will flash sometimes and be solid sometimes. The speed of the flash is like the turn signal. I noticed that a vast majority of the time, the flashing starts when I hit the gas, and stops shortly after i let off the gas. In addition, the last time I drove it, the Y-pipe hit a speed bump in the apartment complex I live in. I hadn't driven it since then and the car was parked no more than 30 seconds after the speed bump incident. I noticed the car also doesn't start like it normally does. It starts like after I leave the battery disconnected for a while. It's not quite as long of a hesitation but it doesn't start right up like it did before. Any help would be appreciated.

wrencher, would it make a difference if he had colder plugs and wires?
I think I have the same problem only my SES light does not flash it just stays on the whole time. I tried reseting it but it still came back on. My has NG6 plugs and MSD wires (that are higher capacity wires therefore colder I assume?).
Any help is appreciated.

I had my blinking SES with ORP on car, did Autotap, and found multiple misfires and passengers front O2 sensor had taken a ****, replaced it with new one and cleared codes and car was fine!!!
