I keep throwing a check engine light because of a misfire code which isnt really a misfire but it just keeps happening because of my cam. So that being said I wanna disable this code and also my abs while i am at it. What is the best tuner to do this?

 

No tuner can disable ABS. Either EFI Live or HP Tuners can disable misfire.

 

So I`m removing my ABS since Im getting a 9" and I dont want the light on the dash there is no way to remove the code?

 

Not that I know of, I just removed my abs lights from my cluster when I went to manual brakes on my car.

 

So which HP tuners the Pro or the regular do you suggest for making this change, I have to disable the code for inspection.

 

If thats all you plan to use it for the std will do, if you plan to do fuel tuning even later down the line you'll want to consider the pro version since it has provisions for analog wideband inputs.

 

You might as well just buy the Pro now, as soon as you get into tuning you will wish would have if you didnt. With the Pro you can plug a wide band directly into hp tuners which you will need to and real tuning.

 

Just disabling the code is the lazy way out. Increasing the time between misfire events in the misfire tables is a more accurate way to tune this properly.

 

I dont believe the car is actually misfiring, I jsut think because the cam is so aggressive that the code is being thrown

 

Well thats my understanding is the engine is not misfiring, I would feel that it def is not so after speaking with other members it seems to be related to the cam unless you can explain to my why my car is misfiring legitimately because at this point if i cant feel it or hear it I dont believe it. Any ideas?

 

Alot of cams you have adjust your miss fire table. That's not uncommon.

 

Where is that adjustable? What are the ranges?
