Tuning for Small Cam????

Tuning for Small Cam???? I have a mail order tune for my bolt on 1998 SS and it runs excellent, but i want it to lope a little....if i install a smaller cam similar to LS6 but with 112-114 LSA, will my mail order tune be ok for a while until i can get a full dyno tune?.....I know a dyno tune would be best to get all of the power out of the car, but will it run like crap off of a mail order tune?
My .02 is that you will be fine without a tune with a cam that small. I ran my H/C 346 with nothing but HPP3 tuning. Mostly for gears and higher rev-limiter that I had in place before the H/C. My cam was a small MTI C1 (222/222 566/566 on a 112).
As long as the rev-limiter has been raised it should be fine.Like you said, not ideal, but OK.

i'm just one a very tight budget and i need to get something that will be small enough for yellow LS6 springs <.580......MTI C1 seems like it would fit the bill, i'll try to find some idle clips
