Angry Please Help!

Ok, my bf's car was acting real funny.... it was bogging way down and didn't want to go.... He drove it in the rain (it has been raining the last 3 days here) with the fast toy ram air on it for like 20 minutes.... Could it have sucked up water because he wasn't getting the code before that....or just coincidence???

First his car threw a code:

1153 - H02S Insufficient Switching (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Then we deleted it with our Code Reader.... Then we drove down the street and the car was still acting funny, we turned right around and pulled up in the driveway and it spits us another code:

0152 - 02 sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

He doesn't have catz, but he had he car tuned before he put in his new motor and had MTI delete that code....

any help on what we could do to fix this problem Thanks!! -Melissa

Bad O2 passenger side front. Swap it out with one of the rears(that should still be floating around in a box). Or change it with the driver's side front and see if the codes move to the other side.

Probably just a bad sensor.

Good Luck,

yea i figured by the codes it was and 02 sensor... i didn't know that the sensors were interchangeable though... the # 98 sensor has to be on the driver's side and the # 97 sensor has to be on the passenger side... am i wrong??

thanks

Well I don't want to speak out of school here. My understanding is that all of the LS1 O2 sensors are the same.

I know for a fact that they are identical in my '02.

Someone will confirm.

Good Luck,

The O2 are all the same except for the harness length.

As far as I know they are the same but there is a difference in length of the wires. That is all I have herd was different between them. Good luck.

All four O2 sensors on all years are the same and will work in any position as long as the lead is long enough to reach. One out of the 4 sensors will have a shorter lead than the other three.
