Need advice for PCM
Need advice for PCM I am picking up a 2002 5.3l out of a tahoe complete for $249 on Monday. While i am there at the salvage yard i would like to get a PCM/ECU for my application and work it in the "deal". I am not sure which PCM/ECU i should get and why not this one or that one. (Newbie)
5.3l will be punched and stroked to a 383 and installed into a 1985 Corvette that is currently setup with the factory 350 TPI.
I will buy or build my wiring harness.
God it will be great to get rid of that big honkin TPI unit and ignition distributor! NO MORE CAPS/ROTORS.
Engine will never have a Turbo or Supercharger. Just a mild cam installed. I am putting all my $$ into heads, stroker kit, intake if you need that information to provide a good opinion on which PCM/ECU i should get.
