Default hypertech programmer

I bought a used Hypertech programmer and it turned out to be Vin locked all ready. Is there any way of having it cleared? Thanks

No as far as I know that means the tune is already on that car and that you will have to pay hypertech for a new load.... but why bother it is garbage anyways!

I didn't buy it to use. I just got it to re sell. I only gave 100 bucks for it and a 85 mm throttle body. I wanted to use the TB and i figured i could get my money back out of the programmer but it turned out to be locked. Thanks

I have seen so many people get taken by people who sell vin locked Hyper units.
