Cheapest Way to Flash ECU Back to Stock

Default Cheapest Way to Flash ECU Back to Stock

I have a 2000 T/A that I was running a complete twin turbo setup on until the motor went out on me. Now I am returning the car back to stock to sell. I found a complete motor out of an '02 T/A for a good deal here locally with low miles so I think that's what I'm gonna go with. I need to set the ECU to work with that motor with stock '02 settings. What is the cheapest route for me to do that? Mail order tune or take it to a local GM dealership?

a pcm from a junkyard, maybe even the one from the car the engine came from. are you gonna go back with an egr system? if not, i'd imagine an 02 pcm would be fine. thats my guess. but a jukyard pcm is gonna be cheapest.

Ditto, and some of the vendors on here can ship a stock one for a decent price.

Someone around you has to have HPT or EFI to help you out. I would do it but you are a hour or ten away.
