Will a 05 corvette computer work on a 05-06 gto?

I purchased a 05 corvette computer .. will it work on an 05-06 gto thanks

Pretty sure the GTO is an E46 and the vette is an E38. Pretty sure the answer is no. The E38 will have two connectors and the E46 will have three.

gto ECU is a E40 and pretty sure the corvette is a E40 for 05. if the both look the same should be fine.

You are correct, sorry for the wrong info. The Vettes didn't go to the E38 until 2006. Also, I meant E40 not E46. Like you said, if they look the same, it should work once it's calibrated for the car.

Yeah some limitations with earlier and later ECU and model year cals.
But you should be ok on the E40 side. Do a full flash with the new E40 and see how it goes. I know efilive wont allow you to full flash unless the hardware is compatible.

im building an ls2 built, procharged, and its going into my 68 camaro, so im going to need a TUNE. i know its an e 40 .. they look the same... three plugs, and all the harnesses snap in.. i figured they wer from the same year so they would be ok..
