Default Setting P0106 MAP performance

i am setting this code at idle due to my cam not having enought vacuum. after searching on it, it looks like there is nothing i can do besides deleting it. i dont what to delete this code since it could be important later on. does anyone know if there is a fix yet with LS1edit?

Too little timing at idle will actually throw this code. Also, the obvious would be a vac leak.

some one told me that you can change the min and max MAP sensor readings and it will go away. has anyone heard about this?

You have to change the min and max values of the MAP setting using LS1 Edit ver 1.3 or higher.

This will stop the code from throwing.

Change the min to 65 kPA and the max to 85 kPA.

FYI, you should only be throwing this code with a cam with 230+ intake duration or a very close LSA (ie 108). If you are throwing this code with a smaller cam your cam tune is off.

TTT. I looked through the different tables, and can't seem to find where these MAP settings are at. I have V1.4, and am looking under engine cal. Thanks!
