Default Bad MAP symptoms

First of all I have a limited knowledge of tuning. I'm trying to get a better understanding of what I need to cover.
While replacing the clutch in the winter I had to loosen the motor mounts (poly) to get off the trans. After the install the car ran so poorly just as I was going to store it. I found that I snapped the MAP sensor off the FAST 102 intake because the wiring harness was stretched to far while moving around the engine. The car will run but has a bad case of hillbilly cruise control and will not find it's happy place all the time when modulating the throttle. I'm pulling the car out of storage and getting it ready. Do these symptoms sound primarily like the MAP? Is there a way I can check the harness for any breaks?
